THE LAVENDER MUSEUM, PROVENCE – SINCE 1991
Housed in a grand stone building surrounded by lavender plants and olive trees, the Lavender Museum “Le Musée de la Lavande” brings together the biggest collections of red copper stills and traditional objects relating to the history, the botany, the distillation and the uses of the TRUE LAVENDER OF PROVENCE.
Plunge into the universe of fine lavender!
From February to April and October to December: 9am to 12.15pm and 2pm to 6pm.
From May to September: 9am to 7pm non-stop.
Open every day from 1st February to 31st December (except 25th December). Annual closure in January.
Events: Distillation demonstrations from 1st July to 25th August.
Free Audio-guides in 10 languages: French, English, German, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, Portuguese, Chinese, Japanese and Russian.
