Hello everyone! Here is some news about the preparations for the World Championships. The markings for the distance between the firing points and the targets, along with those for the lanes of the three courses are practically finished.
At the end of March or the beginning of April an inspection will be made by the International Arbitrator who will verify the work of the 3 teams responsible for the laying out of the courses each of which have 24 targets. This is an extremely serious business since a maximum of security must be the top priority at all times. Responsible for the laying out of the yellow course we have Alain Gallardo and his son Olivier, with Laurent Ferrandes and Bernard Pauner (from Miramas) for the blue course and Bruno Charmetant with Christian Genin (from Le Puy Ste Réparade) for the red course, under the supervision of their team captain Eric Girard from Porte les Valence.
We would like to take this opportunity to give our grateful thanks to all the land owners who have made it possible for us to carry out this enormous feat.
